Is this daredevil stunt the most crazy birthday wish PM Narendra Modi got on his 68th birthday?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 68th birthday, which was on Monday, was marked by wishes coming in from far and wide, and by activities and events, mainly in his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi which he is visiting over two days. However, what may be the most emphatic wish appears to have come in from the skies above Chicago in the U.S.

Indian skydiver Sheetal Mahajan dropped in with the winning entry -- literally! She took off aboard a small plane which proceeded to climb to a height of 13,000 feet, or about 4km. And then, in a show of daredevilry, she jumped right out into a skydive, unfurling a placard wishing the Prime Minister a happy birthday before making a successful landing.

In photos of the stunt, Sheetal Mahajan can be seen at the portal of the craft, fully equipped to jump and appearing to make final calculations. She's also wearing a jumpsuit in the Indian Tricolour. Once she's jumped, she can be seen unfurling a poster, which is, nonetheless, difficult to read as it gets buffeted by the air on account of gravity forcing them down at a rate of almost 10 m/s.

Once she's reached terra firma, likely with the help of the parachute tucked away in her bag, she takes off her helmet and shows off the poster, this time in a readable manner. It carries a picture of the Prime Minister and says:

Honourable Prime Minister of India
Shri Narendra Modi Sir
Wish You Happy Birthday

Interestingly, the Prime Minister's birthday had also begun with a space-age 'birthday gift', with ISRO successfully launching the PSLV C42 which put two UK satellites into orbit.

In the afternoon on Monday, he was in Varanasi, where he is scheduled to flag off development projects.

On Monday evening, however, he interacted with school students in the Narur village near Varanasi, and also offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
