PM Modi birthday celebrations flagged off by BJP's 'Seva Saptah'

For PM Modi's birthday, the BJP started a ‘Seva Saptah’ campaign on Friday, September 14, launched by party leader Amit Shah, who also took part in the events

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched its ‘Seva Saptah’ (service week) on Friday, September 14 for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17. BJP President Amit Shah with working President JP Nadda and leaders Vijay Goel and Vijender Gupta swept the floor in AIIMS as part of the party’s week-long ‘Seva Saptah’ campaign. Amit Shah and JP Nadda also met children admitted in AIIMS and gifted them fruits as a part of the campaign.

PM has dedicated his entire life to serve the nation: Amit Shah

Amit Shah said that BJP workers across the country will begin celebrating 'Seva Saptah' today. He added that the PM has dedicated his entire life to serve the nation & worked for the poor. So, it is appropriate that we celebrate his birthday week as 'Seva Saptah'. BJP Uttar Pradesh President Swatantra Dev Singh with state Ministers, Ashok Katariya and Ranvendra Pratap Singh also swept a street as part of the party's campaign.

A couple of days ago, while divulging details about 'Seva Saptah', BJP National Secretary Arun Singh said, "Modi government is dedicated to the poor people of the country. Ever since Narendra Modi Ji has taken charge as Prime Minister, he has dedicated his life to the poor of the nation."

“Many of the Modi government schemes like Ujjwala Yojna, PM Awas Yojna, Aayushman Yojna, and many others are successful schemes that have benefitted the poor. The Modi government is dedicated to the poor, as the PM Modi himself comes from a poor background, he understands the problems and difficulties faced by the poor in the country,” he added.

'Seva Saptah' plans

During this long-week, various health check-up plans -- blood donation, eye check-up and operation camps -- will also be organised by the party workers for the needy people all over the country. During ‘Seva Saptah’ party workers will also promote PM Modi's anti-plastic drive, Swachata Abhiyan and his save water initiative. During the Seva Saptah, all the BJP MLAs and MPs will be visiting various schools to promote shunning the use of single-use plastic under PM Modi's anti-plastic drive.
