The government is set to make another push for the triple talaq bill in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, two days after the opposition disrupted the proceedings of the winter session.

Law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will table the The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2018. The bill intends to put a ban on instant and oral divorce prevailing in the Muslim community of India.
