After years of chase, dreaded gangster from Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gang arrested

Chandigarh: In a major breakthrough, Punjab police on Thursday has nabbed dreaded gangster Vikramjit Singh alias Vicky, an operative of Lawrance Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gang. Meanwhile, the police have recovered a Chinese made pistol, 8 live cartridges and a Fortuner from his possession.

According to the information provided by police, Vicky was tasked to eliminate a rival gang member of the Bishnoi gang. This task was given by the foreign handlers of gang. Preliminary investigation revealed that Vicky was also involved in cross border weapons and drugs smuggling nexus.

“Vicky is a history sheeter and having 20 cases against him including UAPA. He was on the wanted list of AGTF as he was active in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Vicky was getting the directions from his foreign handlers associated with Bishnoi gang. Recently he was planning to kill a rival gang member of Bishnoi gang but nabbed on intelligence-based input. Further his interrogation will reveal the other gang members active in Punjab and about their further plannings”,

Vicky was also among one of the shooters involved in the sensation killing of Ankit Bhadu inside a gym in Rajasthan’s Ganganagar back in 2018.
