Allahabad: In a significant judgement, the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court on Friday ordered the cancellation of the results of 69,000 Assistant Teachers Recruitment. The Allahabad High Court put a stay on the result of 69,000 assistant teacher recruitment directing the education department to issue the merit list afresh. According to the information, the new selection list will be released in the next 3 months as per the education rules.
While putting a stay on the merit list of teacher recruitment, the double bench of the court has ordered the Uttar Pradesh Education Department to follow Section 3(6) of Reservation Rules 1994 and Basic Education Rules 1981. In fact, the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court has ordered to release the result of 69,000 Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination afresh.
Meanwhile, the order of the Allahabad High Court has dealt a big blow as the preparation of the new selection list will lead to the elimination of thousands of teachers, who have been working for the last 4 years, be eliminated.
The case of reservation irregularities in the recruitment of 69 thousand teachers was pending in the High Court for a long time. There were allegations of irregularities regarding reservation of 19 thousand seats in teacher recruitment. Several petitions were filed before the court regarding the alleged discrepancies.

The High Court on Friday canceled the merit list considering the existing list of 69000 assistant teachers as wrong. The court has ordered the Uttar Pradesh government to prepare a new merit list within 3 months.
