Baba Siddique Murder: Timeline Of Attack On NCP Leader

Mumbai: NCP Ajit Pawar faction leader Baba Siddique was on Saturday shot multiple times to death in Mumbai. The former Maharashtra minister, Baba Siddique was shot at in Bandra East, following which he was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in a critical condition, where he was declared dead. According to the Mumbai Police, NCP senior leader Baba Siddique has been fired upon by unidentified people. He has been admitted to the nearby Lilavati Hospital, where he was declared dead.

Reports suggested that Baba Siddique, who was a member of the Congress party before joining the NCP, had received bullet injuries around his chest. It is not yet clear who fired at him. The police are searching for the accused, who fled the spot after firing.

9:15 - 9:20 AM: Baba Siddiqui left his office to join a celebration where he planned to burst firecrackers.

Shooting Begins: While Baba Siddiqui was firing crackers to celebrate, three individuals suddenly appeared from a nearby vehicle. 

These men had their faces covered with handkerchiefs, making it hard to identify them.

Gunfire: The masked men pulled out guns and fired three shots at Baba Siddiqui. 

The sound of gunfire disrupted the festive atmosphere and caused panic among the crowd.

Location of Incident: The shooting took place near the Ram Mandir , a well-known temple close to Baba Siddiqui's office. 

This area is usually busy, especially during celebrations.

Immediate Consequences: Baba Siddiqui was shot in the chest and fell to the ground. 

People nearby rushed to help him and quickly took him to Lilavati Hospital for urgent medical care.
