Bengaluru Power Cut: City Braces for 4-Day Outage From Today | Check Details

Bengaluru: Parts of city will face power cuts for four days from Sunday, October 20, due to maintenance work being carried out by the BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company).

According to BESCOM, the disruption in power supply will remain in place from 10am to 10pm during these days in specific parts of the city.

The outages are necessitated as BESCOM is undertakes urgent maintenance work at the 66/11kV Telecom Station, including replacing the 11kV Bank-2 breakers.

Here is the list of areas affected by the power cuts: Obalesh Colony, Rose Garden, Raipur, Binny Pete, Padarayanapura, JJR Nagar, Gopalan Mall, Mysore Road (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Cross), Momimpura, Janatha Colony, Shamana Garden, Rafat Nagar, Ranganath Colony. Hosahalli Main Road, Park Binny Pete, Anjanappa Garden, Doreshwamy Nagar, Flower Garden, New Police Quarters, SD Math, Cottonpet, Akkipet, Balaji Complex, Mantri Pete, Sultanpet, Nalbandwadi (Opposite Chickpet Metro Station), Police Road, Gopalan Apartments, Mariyappa A. KPS Math, Gangappa Garden, Bhuvaneshwari Nagar, Prestige Woods Apartments, and surrounding areas.

BESCOM has urged residents to plan accordingly and cooperate during the outage period to ensure that the maintenance work is completed smoothly.
