Bengaluru: Bengaluru traffic police have announced traffic restrictions due to a VVIP visit on Friday and Saturday. A ban on vehicle parking and suggested alternative routes have been put in place to manage the traffic flow.
Parking Ban on Friday
On Friday, from 4 pm to 9 pm, a blanket ban on parking will be enforced on the following key roads:
- HAL Airport Road
- Cubbon Road
- MG Road (Trinity to Mayo Hall)
- Raj Bhavan Road
- Ambedkar Veedhi
Motorists are urged to use alternative routes during these hours to avoid congestion.
Ban Continues on Sunday, Check Other Restrictions
The parking ban will continue on Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm on several major roads:
- Ballari Road
- Palace Road
- Jayamahal Road
- Ramana Maharshi Road
- Mount Carmel College Road
- CV Raman Road
- Nandidurga Road
- Taralabalu Road
- Infantry Road
- Cubbon Road
- MG Road
- Raj Bhavan Road
- HAL Airport Road

Large Gathering at Palace Grounds
Due to a large gathering expected at Palace Grounds, the police have directed visitors to park their vehicles near Gate No. 2. Vehicles must exit through Tripuravasini Gate and Mehkri Circle.
Alternate Routes for Commuters
For those not visiting Palace Grounds, alternative routes are advised to avoid the affected areas:
- Balekundri Circle to Le Meridien
- Taralabalu Road
- Queen’s Road
- Bhashyam Circle
- Sankey Road
- Old Udaya TV Junction
