BREAKING: Earthquake of Magnitude 3.7 Hits Meghalaya's East Jaintia Hills District

Shillong: An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 on the Richter scale struck East Jaintia Hills District in Meghalaya on Wednesday morning, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.

According to the NCS, the tremors were felt around 10.55am.

The NCS tweeted, “EQ of M: 3.7, On: 14/08/2024 10:55:22 IST, Lat: 25.23 N, Long: 92.42 E, Depth: 10 Km, Location: East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya(sic).”
