BREAKING: Govt Replaces NSG Commandos With CRPF From ‘Z Plus’ Security Of 9 VIPs: Check Details

The responsibility for VIP security will transition from the National Security Guard (NSG) to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), said the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) sources. This change, will affect the protection of nine Z-plus category VIPs currently under NSG guard.

The list of VIPs whose security will be handled by the CRPF includes:

- UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

- Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati

- Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh

- Veteran leader LK Advani

- Assam ’s former Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal

- Chhattisgarh 's former Chief Minister Raman Singh

- Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad

- Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu

- Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah
