Jio Down: Jio users nationwide experienced significant network disruptions on September 17, with numerous complaints flooding social media platforms throughout the day. According to tracking website Down Detector, there was a dramatic increase in outage reports around noon.

By 12:18 p.m. today, Down Detector recorded 10,367 reports of network issues from Jio users. This marked a sharp rise from 653 reports at 11:13 a.m. and just seven reports at 10:13 a.m. earlier in the day. The surge in complaints highlights the scale of the disruption affecting users across the country.

The Down Detector data indicates that a significant portion of the reports—68 percent—were related to ‘No Signal’ issues. Mobile internet connectivity problems accounted for 18 percent of the reports, while 14 percent were associated with JioFibre services.

Jio has yet to release a formal statement addressing the cause of the outage or outlining steps being taken to resolve the issue. 

“Issue Have Been Resolved,” Says Reliance Jio

“This morning, some Jio customers in Mumbai faced problems in availing seamless services on account of minor technical issues. The same have been resolved, and seamless services of Jio have been fully restored. We regret the inconvenience to our subscribers,” said a Reliance Jio Spokesperson in an official statement. According to this statement, the outage happened due to some technical reasons and it has been resolved now.
