Along with Roy, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Sandip Ghosh and five others are undergoing the polygraph test.

The Polygraph test of six people is being done at CBI office in CGO and that of Sanjay Roy in jail.
A team of polygraph experts and CFSL have reached Kolkata from Delhi for the test.
Sanjoy Roy, Sandip Ghosh, Arka and Soumitra - two trainee doctors of first year PGT, Subhadeep - intern and Ghulam - employee are those who are undergoing the polygraph test today.
As per our sources, there are three types of questions that are asked during a polygraph test - relevant, irrelevant and controlled questions. The test begins with personal questions, followed by questions related to the case.

- When were you appointed as the principal of this medical college, and where were you posted before this?
- When and how did you learn about the incident that took place on the night of the 8th-9th?
- What did the person who informed you about the incident tell you? And what actions did you take afterward? Please think carefully and explain in detail.
- When a major incident happens with a trainee doctor at your hospital, how soon after learning about it did you reach the hospital?
- When you arrived at the hospital, where was the girl’s body?
- When did you see the girl’s body? Having been in the medical profession for so many years, what was your assessment after seeing the body?
- As the head of the medical college, what information did you gather from those present at the scene? How many people were present?
- Who informed you about the girl’s death, and what details did they provide? Please recall and specify the names of those who gave you the information.
- Who called the police, and when? What was communicated to the police?
- What time did the police arrive at the hospital? How many officers were there? Who guided them to the crime scene? When did you speak with the police, and what was discussed? How long did the police take to complete the inquest proceedings, and where were you at that time?
- When and by whom was the girl's family informed about the incident? How and what were they told?
- When did the family arrive at the hospital, who handled them, and did you speak with them?
- Who informed you that this was a case of suicide?
- On whose instructions were false information provided to the family? If you were unaware, why did you not inform the family of the truth?
- It’s hard to believe that any doctor could declare it a suicide after seeing the body. How do you respond to that?
- How many doctors, nursing staff, and guards were on duty that night? Who is responsible for making their roster?
- How long had the accused been working there? What role did the police inform you the accused played in the murder?
- After learning about the incident, whom did you call?
- When did you first meet the accused, Sanjeev Rai?
- Did you know him, and were you aware of what work he did in the hospital?
- Who appoints the agencies responsible for hiring cleaners and security guards in your hospital?
- As the principal of the medical college, do you believe you fulfilled your responsibilities adequately?
- How many doctors were claiming that this was a case of suicide?
- Did you declare it a suicide based solely on their information, or did you inspect the body yourself?
- As a senior doctor, you know that a crime scene should be preserved. Why didn’t you do so? Did you receive any instructions not to preserve the scene?
- Why did neither you nor any doctor at your hospital stop the police from proceeding with the inquest?
- Who first informed you that this was not a suicide but a case of rape and murder?
- Did you discuss the post-mortem report with the doctors who conducted it?
- If you did, what was discussed, and what were their findings regarding the death? What were the names of the doctors you spoke to?
- When did this conversation take place?
- After learning about the post-mortem findings, what actions did you take? Whom did you inform, and what did you tell them?
- Why did you suddenly resign?
- The way you resigned suggests you were trying to escape from the entire incident. How do you respond to that?
- Even if we accept that you resigned on moral grounds, why didn’t you refuse the new appointment or ask for some time to recover from the incident?
- We have information that the Kolkata Health Department wanted to take action against you, which is why you resigned. This was all planned, and we have evidence to support this claim. What do you have to say about that?
