In what seems to be a second death threat to UP CM Adityanath within a week, a man has shared an old death threat post for Yogi Adityanath on 'X'.

Lucknow: A man has shared an old death threat post for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the social media platform ‘X’. Since this is the second time in days that the UP CM has received a death threat. Following this second threat, the police has sprang to action and a thorough investigation is underway.

Man Shares Death Threat Post for UP CM Adityanath

A man has reshared a post on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) and the post is that of Fatima Khan, who had sent a death threat to the Uttar Pradesh CM and was caught in Mumbai. The UP Police was informed about the same via an organisation and the cyber cell of the Gorakhpur Police is now actively investigating the matter.

Not many details are available about the accused except that he is a resident of Pipraich and works as a tailor in Mumbai.

Death Threat to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath

On Sunday, the Mumbai Traffic Police received a message threatening to kill Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, an official said on Sunday. The city police's traffic control room received the message from an unknown number saying if Adityanath did not resign from the CM's post, then he will be killed like NCP leader Baba Siddique, the official said.

The 44-year-old woman apprehended for allegedly giving a death threat to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister was arrested, interrogated and later released. Fatima Khan, an IT graduate living with her family in Ulhasnagar, Thane district, was nabbed in a joint operation by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad and police.

The official said she was brought to Mumbai for interrogation, served a notice, and later released on Sunday. According to the police, Khan is well-qualified but mentally unstable. Her father works in the timber business.

The police are on alert as Adityanath is expected to visit Maharashtra to campaign for the November 20 assembly elections.
