Bus Full of Pilgrims Plunges Into Ravine in Uttarkashi District, 15 Evacuated

New Delhi: A passenger bus careened off the road near Ganganani on the Gangotri National Highway in Uttarkashi district, plunging 15-20 meters below the road surface. Responders managed to evacuate 15 individuals from the ravine, bringing them safely to the road above.

The incident has prompted a massive rescue operation involving the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), local police, ambulance services, and rapid response teams.
