By-Election 2024: Full Poll Schedule For 48 Assembly Seats, Wayanad, & Nanded Announced | Check Here

By-election Schedule: Along with Maharashtra and Jharkhand , the Election Commission on Tuesday announced that bypolls for 47 Assembly constituencies and one Parliamentary constituency, Wayanad in Kerala , will take place on November 13.

Moreover, a bypoll for one Assembly seat in Uttarakhand is scheduled for November 20, along with a by-election for the Nanded Parliamentary constituency in Maharashtra , also set for November 20.

The last date to file nominations for these bypolls is October 25, with October 30 being the deadline for withdrawing candidacies. The counting of votes will take place on November 23, and the results will be announced the same day.

By-election Schedule for 48 Assembly Seats, Wayanad and Nanded LS constituencies

The by-election in Wayanad was necessitated following Congress leader Rahul Gandhi 's resignation from the Lok Sabha seat, opting to retain the Rae Bareli constituency. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been announced as the candidate for the Wayanad seat.
