Delhi 12-Hour Water Cut Sept 20: Karol Bagh, Civil Lines and Other Areas to be Affected Today | List

New Delhi: The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) on Thursday announced that several areas in the national capital will face a 12-hour water supply cut on Friday (September 20) due to maintenance work on a 500 mm diameter rising main from the Chandrawal Water Works. As per the DJB, the repair work will take place at the premises of DR Ambedkar National Memorial in Civil Lines and will start at 11 am.
"Potable water supply from Chandrawal Water Works will remain affected for 12 hours on 20.09.2024 from 11:00 AM onwards in the following areas," the DJB said in a post on X.
The authority further advised residents to use water judiciously during the outage.

Checklist of Affected Areas:
Civil Lines, Hindu Rao Hospital and surrounding locations, Kamla Nagar, Shakti Nagar and adjacent areas, Karol Bagh, Paharganj, NDMC areas, Old and New Rajinder Nagar, Patel Nagar (East and West), Baljeet Nagar, Prem Nagar, Inderpuri and nearby areas, as well as parts of the Cantonment and South Delhi.
