Delhi experienced a maximum temperature of 34.8°C on Tuesday, slightly above the seasonal average, as reported by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The minimum temperature for the day was recorded at 24.4°C.
According to the IMD, "Light to moderate rainfall accompanied with light thunderstorms and lightning is very likely to occur at a few places in Delhi and NCR." The weather department has forecasted a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain for Wednesday. The temperatures are expected to range between 32°C and 23°C.

In terms of air quality, the 24-hour Air Quality Index (AQI) of the national capital was noted to be in the 'satisfactory' category with a reading of 62 at 4 pm, as per the Central Pollution Control Board. The AQI categories are as follows: an AQI between zero and 50 is considered "good," 51 and 100 "satisfactory," 101 and 200 "moderate," 201 and 300 "poor," 301 and 400 "very poor," and 401 and 500 "severe."
