New Delhi: A recent social media post that caught widespread attention, a Gurgaon resident took to social media to express shock at the exorbitant price of coriander (dhaniya) on the quick-commerce platform Zepto. The platform was seen retailing coriander for ₹131 per 100 grams, even after a 22% discount. The post quickly went viral, prompting Zepto to respond to the growing concerns.

In their official statement, Zepto explained, "Yesterday, a system glitch caused significant pricing disparities across our platform, leading to some unusual price tags for various products, including coriander." The company further elaborated, “While some items were priced three times lower, others saw a substantial hike. We are pleased to inform our customers that the issue has been resolved, and accurate prices are now back on track.”

Following the viral post, Zepto issued a comprehensive statement addressing the pricing glitch and reaffirming their commitment to quality and fair pricing. The statement reads:
