Hyderabad: DISTURBING video captures engineering student jump to death inside college premises

BREAKING Update: National Human Rights Commission has sent a notice to the Government of Telangana over the reported suicide of an Engineering girl student at her college in Rangareddy district.

Hyderabad: In a disturbing incident, an 18-year-old engineering student killed herself by jumping off a  5-storey building in Sangareddy district of Telangana. The deceased has been identified as Renu Sri. 

The girl was CSE (Computer Science and Engineering), 1st year student of GITAM University. She took the extreme step inside the college premises, Republic TV sources said, adding that no suicide note has been recovered so far. 

Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot and took the dead body to local government hospital for post-mortem examination. Further investigations into the case is underway.
