Doda bus accident: List of bodies identified released

In a devastating bus accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda, 36 lives were lost, and 19 individuals sustained injuries. As authorities work tirelessly to manage the aftermath, the process of identifying the deceased has begun.The list of identified victims released includes six females and 15 males.

The bus transporting 55 passengers met with a disastrous fate in J&K’s Doda district on Wednesday. The ill-fated journey from Kishtwar to Jammu took a grim turn as the bus lost control and plunged into a deep gorge near Trungal in the Assar area along the highway. Local authorities, law enforcement, and the military joined forces in a coordinated and extensive rescue operation to manage the aftermath of the tragedy.
