Dry weather in Himachal Pradesh, snowfall likely on Feb 21

The weather remained dry across Himachal Pradesh on Monday, the Meteorological department said. The Met office has forecast rain and snowfall in high hills of the state on February 21, Shimla Met centre director Manmohan Singh said. 

The tribal Lahaul and Spiti's administrative centre Keylong continued to be the coldest place in Himachal Pradesh at minus 5.9 degrees Celsius, Singh said.  Kalpa recorded a low of minus 0.5 degree Celsius, he added.

Manali, Kufri and Dalhousie recorded a low of 1.8, 6.2 and 6.8 degrees Celsius respectively, Singh added. Shimla recorded a low of 7.9 degrees Celsius, he added.  The highest temperature was recorded in Una at 27.7 degrees Celsius, he added.
