Four-Year-Old Boy Dies After Vomiting at School in Kolkata

Kolkata: In a tragic incident, a four-year-old boy from a reputed school in Moulali, central Kolkata, died on Friday after allegedly vomiting in class. According to police, the child was immediately rushed to the state-run Nil Ratan Sircar (NRS) Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared him "brought dead."
The boy, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, reportedly began vomiting during school hours. His teachers and school authorities acted swiftly, arranging for urgent medical assistance. Despite their efforts, the child could not be saved.
The police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. A senior police officer stated, “We are waiting for the autopsy report, which will help us understand if there was any underlying medical condition that led to this unfortunate event.”
