Girl Commits Suicide After Being Harassed By Stalker In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a 17-year-old girl committed suicide after being harassed by a youth who was stalking her for the past few days, police said on Friday. 

The accused has been identified as Shyam. 

The deceased victim was a resident of Durga Nagar and was stalked and harassed by the accused on the pretext of love. 

Deeply distressed by ongoing harassment, the girl took her own life by hanging in her home. 

A case has been registered, police said. 

In another tragic incident, a female nurse at a private hospital in Kamareddy district in Telangana committed suicide as she was dejected over her boyfriend delaying their marriage, police said. 

Boyfriend Delayed Marriage

According to the officials, the woman is suspected to have ended her life as she was dejected over her boyfriend delaying their marriage.

The victim also called her boyfriend this morning before committing suicide and switched off her phone. Officials said that though the man immediately reached her residence, he found that the victim had hung herself from the ceiling fan. The victim was taken to a government hospital in a car but was declared brought dead by the doctors.
