Gold Silver Price on Dhanteras:  Dhanteras 2024 brings good news for those planning to buy gold and silver. Today on Dhanteras, significant price drops for gold have been observed. Traditionally, purchasing gold coins and jewelry on Dhanteras is considered auspicious in Indian culture.

Today, the price of gold fell by ₹400 per 10 grams, bringing the rate of 24-carat gold down to ₹81,100 per 10 grams. According to the All India Sarafa Association, gold prices had previously risen to ₹81,500 per 10 grams on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remains steady at ₹98,500 per kilogram. As of Monday evening, the rate for 24-carat gold was ₹81,100, while the price for 23-carat gold dropped to ₹80,700 per 10 grams. Additionally, the December gold futures contract on the MCX was trading at ₹78,220 per 10 grams, down by ₹312, while the silver contract for December fell by ₹585, trading at ₹96,549 per kilogram.

Gold Prices In India:

24K gold is currently at Rs 80,290 per 10 grams, while 22K and 18K gold prices are at Rs 73,600 and Rs 60,220 per 10 grams. These prices are at all-time highs.

Silver Prices In India:

1 kg of silver is currently at Rs 98,000 in India, while the cheapest silver to buy is currently at Rs 98. Further, 100 grams and 10 grams of silver is priced at Rs 9,800 and Rs 980.

In recent weeks, gold and silver prices have seen a substantial increase, and further rises are anticipated. A report from Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited (MOFSL) predicts that in the next 12 to 15 months, silver could reach ₹1.25 lakh per kilogram on the MCX and $40 per ounce on Comex. The report also indicates that gold may rise to ₹86,000 per 10 grams in the medium to long term, with Comex gold potentially reaching $2,830 and eventually $3,000.
