Greater Noida: A tragic incident took place in Greater Noida, where a stray dog was thrown down from the seventh floor of a building, killing the animal on the spot on Thursday, as per media reports.
The incident took place at Vihaar Heritage Sapphire Society in Sector 1. The incident was brought to light by Surbhi Rawat, president of People for Animals and a resident of Ghaziabad who posted a CCTV footage of the dog falling on the ground on social media platform X.
The Station House Officer (Bisrakh) Arvind Kumar told a media outlet that no FIR had been filed yet. The SHO stated that they are investigating the CCTV footage and then will look into the matter.
Meanwhile, Sushmita told the media outlet that around 11.30 am on June 20, a society member called her and informed her that a female dog died after it was thrown from the seventh floor of the society.
