Gujarat: 2 People Injured As Fire Breaks Out At Bakery In Rajkot
At least two people were injured in Gujarat's Rajkot after a fire broke out at the Jalaram Bakery located in the Sindhi Colony on Monday night.
Rajkot: At least two people were injured in Gujarat 's Rajkot after a fire broke out at the Jalaram Bakery located in the Sindhi Colony on Monday night followed by a massive blast. On information, a team of firefighters and Rajkot police rushed to the spot and initiated a rescue operation. The victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment and efforts were started to douse the fire.
According to the information, the fire was brought under control and further cooling operations were being conducted.
Incharge Chief Fire Officer Amit Dave said, “We received a call that a fire broke out at the Jalaram Bakery located in the Sindhi Colony. We sent two firefighters immediately and the fire at the outer stall was extinguished by them. There has also been a blast.”
"The police are investigating the reason behind it. A GSPC gas line passes from near the Jalaram Bakery corner and the repairing work was going on due to a leakage. The fire is under control. Two people have been injured and they have been sent to the civil hospital for treatment," the fire official said.
