PM Narendra Modi, the leader of the world's largest democracy has emerged to be the number one global leader in today's era, by building his political identity with influential leadership, promising delivery of the party's manifesto and a strong global presence.  Alongside world leaders like US President Donald Trump, Russia President Vladimir Putin, President of China Xi Jinping and others, PM Modi stands apart with his immense popularity, at home and even abroad.

Here's why PM Modi beats the biggest world leaders to be on the top:

PM Modi is not contentious like US President Donald Trump

Walking on thin-ice of impeachment, US President Donald Trump is arguably the most controversial leader in the current world order. From actually stating that he could win a 'Nobel prize for a lot of things' to making casual remarks on the country's nuclear arsenal, the US President has been widely criticised by the US media, Democrats and even US celebrities.

Apart from making inconsistent statements, and being too prone to gaffes, the US President Donald Trump has also been trolled for wearing a crooked tie, having a fly hovering around his hair, blaming the light bulb for looking orange, calling the Apple CEO Tim Cook as 'Tim Apple,' all during public addresses.

PM Modi is democratic unlike Russia President Vladimir Putin

President of Russia, Vladimir Putin has also been accused of stifling voices of dissent, and Opposition leaders. In a recent such incidence, Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny had to be hospitalised on July 28 as doctors said that he might have been poisoned with an unknown chemical substance. He was rushed to the hospital from jail, where he served sentence for violating Russia's protests laws in Moscow.

In April, Kremlin moved towards controlling the internet as Putin signed the 'Sovereign Internet' Law that led to censorship over a large part of the internet.

PM Modi is inclusive unlike Chinese President Xi Jinping

Except for Pakistan, the world came down hard on China for their treatment against Uighur Muslims. Over a million people Uighurs and other minority Muslim communities are known to be detained in "re-education" camps. In a new report alleged that Xi Jinping's government is practicing child separation and even organ harvesting against the community. The world has raised its voice against China's attempt of ethnic cleansing.

PM Modi not facing internal crisis unlike UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson

An unrepentant Prime Minister Boris Johnson brushed off cries of “Resign!” and dared his foes to try to topple him Wednesday at a raucous session of Parliament, a day after Britain’s highest court ruled he acted illegally in suspending the body ahead of the Brexit deadline.

Amid shouts, angry gestures and repeated cries of “Order!” in the House of Commons, Johnson emphatically defended his intention to withdraw Britain from the European Union on Oct. 31, with or without a separation agreement with the EU. He flew home early from the UNGA in New York after Britain’s Supreme Court unanimously ruled on Tuesday that his attempt to suspend Parliament for five weeks had the effect of stymieing its scrutiny of the government over Brexit. The court declared the suspension void.

Along with India's soft power in prominent parts of the world, India's economy is also reported to be the world's second-fastest-growing economy at 6%.  PM Modi, who swept the 2019 Lok Sabha elections with a landslide victory at home, has emerged to be as the number one global leader.
