Himachal: Truck Falls Into River As Iron Bridge Collapses In Lahaul And Spiti | VIDEO

Lahaul and Spiti: Amidst incessant rains in Himachal Pradesh, the Chichong bridge built over a river on Sunday broke from the middle and collapsed into the river. The incident occurred on the Manali-Kaza Road, when a truck was crossing the bridge. During the incident, the truck also fell into the river, however, the truck driver somehow managed to escape unhurt.

On information, the concerned authorities of the district rushed to the spot and efforts were initiated to retrieve the truck from the river.

A video of the incident has also surfaced on social media, wherein a truck can be seen trapped between the broken bridge.
