Horrific Scooty-Bike Collision Leaves Software Engineer, 2 Others Dead in Bagalkot | Video

Bagalkot, Karnataka: Three people, including a software engineer from Bengaluru, lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the helipad road in Bagalkot earlier this month. The victims have been identified as Rajani Ondakudari (34), a software engineer, Shruthi Ondakudari (32), a lecturer at BVV Sangha Dental College in Bagalkot, and Abhishek Dhotre (20).

According to reports, the accident occurred when two women, riding a scooty, made a turn on the helipad road and collided head-on with a speeding bike. The impact was devastating, with one woman dying at the scene. The other woman and the biker succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital. Another person riding the bike sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a local hospital.

Rajani, who worked as a software engineer in Bengaluru, had traveled to Bagalkot for a vacation and was spending time with her relative Shruthi. The accident took place as they were returning home after lunch.

A case has been registered at the Bagalkot traffic police station, and further investigation is underway.
