IED Sent Via Drone Found Near International Border In Punjab’s Ferozepur
An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) delivered via drone, has been recovered from the India-Pakistan border in Punjab's Fazilka district, Punjab Police said.
Ferozepur: Punjab Police on Thursday said that an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) delivered via drone, has been recovered from the India- Pakistan border in Punjab's Fazilka district.
The AIG of Counter Intelligence in Ferozepur said that the drone shipment included RDX, batteries, and timers.

"An IED sent through a drone has been recovered from the India- Pakistan border in Fazilka. The consignment, loaded with RDX, includes batteries and timers in addition to the bomb. The BSF has handed over the device to the State Special Cell," the statement read."The matter is under investigation, and a case has been registered," an official statement said.

Earlier, a made-in-China drone coming from across the international border has been recovered in Punjab 's Tarn Taran district, an official statement said on Sunday.
According to BSF, based on information from the BSF intelligence wing about the presence of a drone in the border area of Tarn Taran district, a joint search operation was carried out in the suspected area.
“During the search operation, at about 02:00 pm, troops successfully recovered one drone from a harvested farming field adjacent to village Wan in Tarn Taran District,” said BSF.
The recovered drone has been identified as a DJI Mavic 3 Classic, manufactured in China.
