In a remarkable display of jointness and operational synergy, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force recently achieved a significant milestone by conducting the maiden air drop of a Rapid Inflatable Boat (RIB) from a C-17 Globemaster aircraft off the coast of Visakhapatnam. This operation was followed by a Combat Freefall at sea executed by the Indian Navy's elite Marine Commandos (MARCOS).
