New Delhi: A travel advisory has been issued by the IndiGo Airline, for passengers travelling to and from Delhi and Mumbai. An alert has also been issued to passengers of other states.
The advisory comes amid heavy rainfall in Delhi and Mumbai since morning today; IMD has also issued a yellow alert for both the cities.
The advisory reminds passengers at Delhi Airport to check their flight status, warning them of potential delays due to the rain.
The advisory reads, “Delhiites, when we send you a rain alert, think of it as a reminder to savour your hot cuppas and enjoy the better weather. Also, be sure to keep an eye on your flight status https://bit.ly/3DNYJqj. Happy mid-week y'all.”
The advisory says, “Mumbai is expected to remain cloudy with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms until late afternoon. Please continue checking your flight status via https://bit.ly/3lpnChV and plan your travel to the airport accordingly. Wishing you safe travels.”
