Actress and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut is once again in hot water following her controversial comments about India’s independence. The Jabalpur District Court has issued a notice to Ranaut regarding her statements. The court has scheduled the next hearing for November 5.

The controversy escalated when Jabalpur advocate Amit Sahu filed a complaint with the police. When no action was taken, Sahu escalated the matter to the Special Court, leading to the court's decision to issue a notice to the actress.
