Kolkata: As doctors in Kolkata continue to protest seeking justice for Abhaya in the Rape and Murder Case, Mamata cops have now installed CCTV cameras at the protesting sites in Kolkata including Swasthya Bhawan and Salt Lake among others. It has been a month since the horrific rape and murder of the trainee doctor of Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, at the seminar room of the same hospital when she was on her 36-hour shift.
In a latest development, the Calcutta Police has installed CCTV cameras at various protesting sites in the West Bengal capital where the agitating doctors are demanding Justice for Abhaya. The CCTV cameras have been installed by the Kolkata Police at the protesting site and nearby areas of Swasthya Bhawan, Salt Lake, where junior doctors are continuing their protest against the RG Kar Medical College & Hospital rape-murder incident.
The main accused in the RG Kar Rape and Murder Case, Sanjoy Roy has refused to undergo a narco analysis test as part of the investigation being conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The probe agency had sought permission from Sealdah Court for the narco analysis test of the accused which was turned down by the court because Roy himself refused to do so.
