Leopard enters public society in Punjab's Ludhiana, panic prevails

Ludhiana, Punjab: A leopard entered the Central Green Society on Pakkhowal Road in Ludhiana on Friday morning, spreading panic among the residents.   

A person living in the society spotted the leopard, and the visuals were captured on the CCTV cameras installed in the society. 

Upon receiving information, the Sadar police station reached the spot and sealed the area. The residents were also cautioned to stay indoors.  

Currently, Forest Department officials are making efforts to catch the leopard and take it away safely from society. 

Remarking on the incident, SHO Gurpreet Singh of Sadar police station stated that the area is currently being checked.
