Rajput noted that the leopard even scratched at the door.

The school cook alerted the local residents about the leopard. In response, villagers gathered and made noise, which caused the leopard to retreat into the jungle.

Basic Education Officer Yogendra Kumar stated that measures would be taken to ensure the safety of students and staff after consulting with the forest department.

A leopard was rescued in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur district near the area around the Mohammad Ali Jauhar University. The leopard had caused panic among the locals as it was roaming free for past four days.
