Patna: As many as 41 IAS officers, with mostly district magistrates, have been transferred in a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Bihar on Sunday, PTI reported.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department, Bhojpur DM Raj Kumar has been appointed as the managing director of the Bihar State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation (COMFED). Meanwhile, Sheohar DM Pankaj Kumar is made the director (primary education) in the Education Department.

Furthermore, in the recent administrative changes, Nayyar Iqbal, Director in Mines and Geology Department Mohd has been shifted to the Food, and Consumer Protection Department as special secretary. Jamui DM Rakesh Kumar is now appointed as the director (chakbandi) of the Directorate of Land Records and Survey.

Mithlesh Mishra, the Director of Mid-day Meals in the Education Department, has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Lakhisarai. Rohtas District Magistrate Navin Kumar has been assigned as the Commissioner in the Transport Department.

Araria District Magistrate Inayat Khan will now serve as the Registrar in the State Cooperative Societies Department. Vidya Nand Singh, previously Deputy Director in the Panchayati Raj Department, has been appointed as Director in the Planning Department.

Begusarai District Magistrate Roshan Kushwaha has been transferred to serve as the DM of Samastipur. Sheikhpura District Magistrate J Priyadarshani has been appointed as Director in the Department of Revenue and Land Reform.
