Microsoft Outage: List of Flights Delayed, Cancelled From Bengaluru Airport

Several flights have been delayed from the Bengaluru Airport. Long queues have been observed at the counters of the various airlines.

Bengaluru: A major disruption in Microsoft’s cloud services has caused widespread flight cancellations and delays across the world, including India, on Friday. Multiple flights from Bengaluru Airport have been delayed. Microsoft Windows users reported facing 'Blue Screen of Death' errors with many users taking to social media platform X to report about the issue.

Here’s the List of Flight Delayed from Bengaluru 

  • Indigo 

Bangalore to Lucknow - Delayed

Bangalore to Jaipur - Delayed

  • Akasa air 

Bangalore to Pune - Delayed

Bangalore to Goa - Delayed

  • Spicejet 

Bangalore to Bagdogra - Delayed

  • Air India Express 

Bangalore to Bhubaneswar - Delayed

Long queues were observed outside Indigo counters as six flights heading towards Coimbatore, Lucknow, Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune were also cancelled.

On Microsoft outage affecting flight operations, Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) said that global outage has impacted operations of Indigo, Akasa, and SpiceJet in T1 and Air India Express in T2 are among the impacted airlines. 

 "A global outage with the Navitaire Departure Control System (DCS) has been affecting operations of some airlines across their network, including BLR Airport since 10:40 IST on July 19, 2024. Indigo, Akasa, and SpiceJet in T1 and Air India Express in T2 are among the impacted airlines. The Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE) and Common Use Self Service (CUSS) systems are also experiencing disruptions," BIAL said.  

Meanwhile, INDIGO operations for the rest of the day stand cancelled at Jammu Airport amid a global outage. 

On the outage, Microsoft said, “We anticipate a resolution is forthcoming. Aware of the issue affecting Windows devices due to update from third-party software platform.”
