Mumbai water cut: Check full list of areas where water supply will be disrupted.

Mumbai: Water supply to several parts of Mumbai city and suburbs will be disrupted on January 4 and 5 as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is expected to carry out the maintenance work of a pipeline. Civic officials said that leakage was detected on a 900 mm cross-connection between Upper Vaitarna and Vaitarna lakes near Powai.

Issuing a statement, BMC said that repair work is scheduled to start from 10 am on January 4 and continue until 10 am on January 5. As a result, water supply to various wards will be impacted during this period. The affected areas encompass all localities in south Mumbai, such as Malabar Hill, Churchgate, and Marine Lines, whose water supply is sourced from the Malabar Hill reservoir. Besides, the Azad Maidan reservoir is also expected to witness a 10% cut in water supply.
