Nifty Hits Fresh Record Peak, Sensex Up by 300 Points in Early Trade

In previous session, Nifty bounced back sharply from the day’s low, closing on a positive note.

New Delhi: India’s equity benchmarks BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened Friday’s trading session on a positive note. The NSE Nifty 50 opened 94 points or 0.40 per cent higher at 23,661, while the BSE Sensex opened 250.55 points or 0.32 per cent higher at 77,729.48.

Bank Nifty index opened 144 points or 0.28 per cent higher at 51,927. While Nifty IT stocks on the NSE rose 2.39 per cent, was trading at 35,772.05 at the time of opening. Nifty Midcap 100 up 270 points while Smallcap up 51.21 points.

Top gainers on the NSE at 9.30 am were LTIMindtree (2.96%), Tech Mahindra (2.19%), Infosys (1.97%), TCS (1.66%), HCLTech (1.51%) where as Hindustan Unilever (-0.95%), HDFC Bank (-0.83%), Kotak (-0.82%), Tata Motors (-0.75%), Reliance (-0.62%) remains top losers.

In previous session, Nifty bounced back sharply from the day’s low, closing on a positive note.
