Pimpri-Chinchwad: A fresh hit-and-run case has been reported in Maharashtra where a speeding taxi crashed into a woman and then ran away from the accident site.
The woman is undergoing treatment and the police has launched an investigation in the case.
This incident of hit-and-run took place at Pimpri-Chinchwad which is about 15 kilometres away from Pune.
The woman, hit by the taxi is currently undergoing treatment and a case has been registered by the Pimpri Police.
This horrific accident has been caught on the camera.
At around 1:30 pm on Sunday, a speeding taxi hit a woman pedestrian and then fled from the spot.
Other people on the road rushed to the victim.
This is not the first hit-and-run case reported in Maharashtra.
In another news, a speeding Audi rammed into two autorickshaws. The driver of one of the autorickshaws is in critical condition, while two passengers were also injured in the crash.
The Mulund police have seized the Audi, but its driver has been missing since the accident.
