Pimpri-Chinchwad Teen Commits Suicide, Leaves Behind 'Log Out' Note

Pimpri Chinchwad: A 16-year-old teen from Maharashtra's Pimpri Chinchwad committed suicide by jumping from the 14th floor of a residential building. 

The teenager boy left behind a suicide note which said, ‘Log Out XD’; according to the police, the teen could be addicted to video games.

16-Year-Old Boy Commits Suicide in Pimpri Chinchwad

A 16-year-old boy jumped from the fourteenth floor of his residential apartment and committed suicide. As per the primary information and investigation by the Police, it is suspected that the teen was playing some sort of video game and there may be a video game addiction for him.

According to Swapna Gore, the DCP of Pimpri-Chinchwad district, “The primary information in our investigation suggests that he was playing some type of game. We also received information from his parents and relatives that he used to play this game on laptop, which might have led to his suicide.”

Teen Leaves Behind ‘Log Out’ Note

What has caught everyone's attention is that before committing suicide, the teenager boy has left behind a suicide note titled ‘Log Out XD’. 

The Pimpri-Chinchwad DCP said, “We found a suicide note in his notebook at the scene, in which he wrote 'log out XD.' We are currently investigating the exact reason for the suicide.”

Students Injured in Road Accident

In another news update from Pimpri Chinchwad, two students sustained minor injuries in a school bus accident in Pimpri Chinchwad in Maharashtra's Pune district on Monday, a police official said.

The incident took place on the Bus Rapid Transit route at 12:30pm, he added.

“A school bus and a car collided. Of the 15 students in the school bus, two sustained minor injuries. They did not require hospitalisation and were treated on the spot. The bus driver was taken into custody. The car driver is reportedly getting treated for injuries”, he said.
