PM Modi To Officially Visit Maldives On President Muizzu’s Invitation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Maldives on an official visit after President Mohamed Muizzu invited him to visit his country.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Maldives on an official visit after President Mohamed Muizzu invited him to visit his country. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Monday said that PM Narendra Modi has accepted Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu’s invitation to visit Maldives during their bilateral meeting in New Delhi. Notably, President Muizzu is on a visit to India. After the meeting between the two leaders, PM Modi said he was delighted to host Muizzu.
PM Modi took to X, to express his pleasure after the meeting saying, “I am delighted to welcome President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to India. During our talks today, we discussed ways to improve economic linkages, connectivity, cultural connect and also cooperation in sectors like climate change, water resources, agriculture, fisheries and more.”
