PM Modi breaks SPG protocol
Prime Minister Modi, while celebrating Diwali with the Army personnel, got the barricading place between him and the soldiers removed. He told the SPG (Special Protection Group) that there should be no distance between him and his soldiers as they are his family members. After the barricading was removed, PM himself went near the Jawans and fed them with sweets with his own hands.

PM Modi on PoK
While speaking about Army’s bravery during the partition, PM Modi also took a dig at Pakistan. He said that there is an inevitable pain in the hearts of all the Indians. “During the time of partition, when many innocent people lost their lives our country suffered a massive loss. However, the feeling during that time was that both countries should take care of their own businesses after whatever loss had occurred. But they did not desist from their antics and started planning ways to annex Jammu and Kashmir. But it was our Indian army and Jawans that quashed all their dreams and wishes. Today I can proudly say that Jammu and Kashmir is a part of India. Some parts of Jammu and Kashmir did slip into their hands and they are illegally controlling it. However, there is this inevitable pain in our heart because of this,” he added.
