Pune: The Pune police filed the final charge sheet in the Porsche crash case having complete details of the sensational car crash, which killed two techies last month. The final charge sheet, submitted by the police before the court, included the complete details of the accident, CCTV footage from the hotel and other places, the driver present in the car, the two other minors present in the car, the eyewitnesses who saw the minor driving the car and the Porsche car.  

According to the police sources, detailed information has been given by the police based on the intensive probe on all possible angles in the charge sheet submitted to the Juvenile Justice Board.

It was revealed during the investigation that the minor’s blood, collected as a sample for a test, was thrown into the biological waste with the intention of destroying the evidence. Not only this, the minor’s blood samples were also allegedly changed at Sassoon Hospital during medical tests after the accident.

During the inquiry, the police found that the altered blood samples belonged to the minor's mother, identified as Shivani Agarwal.  It is being claimed that Agarwal’s blood was taken as a sample with the help of doctors at Sassoon Hospital to assure that the minor accused alcohol test to come as negative. It was revealed that lakhs of rupees were given as bribe to alter the blood sample of the minor.

Two cops, attached to the Yerawada police station, were suspended for alleged dereliction of duty in connection with the case.

Police have alleged that the teen’s blood samples were swapped with those of his mother to show that he was not drunk.

The minor’s parents and two doctors from state-run Sassoon General Hospital have been arrested over the sample swap. Fadnavis said the Sassoon doctors changed the blood samples for a bribe of Rs 3 lakh.

Porsche Car Crash Case

Two software professionals died after their bike was hit by a speeding Porsche in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar area in the early hours of May 19. According to police, a 17-year-old minor was driving the high-end car in a drunken state at the time of the accident.

Police alleged that the teen’s blood samples were swapped with those of his mother to show that he was not drunk. The minor’s parents and two doctors from state-run Sassoon General Hospital have been arrested over the sample swap.
