However, the picturesque holiday snaps took an unexpected turn when Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Vice President of Delhi Cantonment Board, Manish Singh, criticized Chadha for sporting an expensive sweater worth Rs 62,000 during the festivities. 

Singh took to his official social media account to share the image and commented on what he deemed an extravagant choice for a leader of a party that emphasizes common man values.

The sweater, identified as a Polo Ralph Lauren Graphic Printed Woollen Sweater, is available on the online shopping platform Myntra.

Reactions from netizens poured in, with one stating, "Raghav Chadha, who had nothing when he joined politics, now wears Polo Ralph Lauren Sweater worth more than Rs.60,000."
