Security Forces Thwart Infiltration Bid on LoC in J-K's Uri

Baramulla: Security forces on Saturday thwarted an infiltration bid on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir’s Uri , as per media reports. 

According to the officials, security forces, including the Army, foiled the infiltration bid in Uri’s Gohallan area in Baramulla district, according to media reports. 

The officials told a media outlet that a group of terrorists was noticed by the security forces attempting  to infiltrate into this side of the LoC in the Gohallan area of Uri. The group was challenged by the security forces. The infiltration bid was thwarted.

According to the officials, further details on this are awaited.

Terrorist activities have surged during the last fortnight in J&K.
