New Delhi: A couple of days after three UPSC aspirants studying at the Rau's IAS Study Circle lost their lives by drowning in the basement due to flooding, a new video has emerged.

The video is from before the accident and is of a faculty member who is seen talking about the flooding, in a live class on YouTube.

Was Rau's Faculty Aware about the Flooding?

The video that has been circulating on social media, is of a live class that was being conducted on YouTube, on the official channel of the coaching institute.

The faculty member in the video is seen taking a break from class and is speaking about the flooding; it seems from the video that the faculty member was not aware of the magnitude of the situation.

'Sewer Line Blocked, Gate Broken...'

In the video, the faculty member can be heard saying, “The sewer line is blocked, roads are jammed, and the gate is broken. I've been informed to end the class early; otherwise, we won't be able to reach home. So, what to do? Let's continue with the lecture and see what happens.”

Video Removed from Rau's Official YouTube Channel

Social media users have claimed that this video has now been removed from the playlist of Rau's IAS Study Circle's official YouTube channel.
