Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh: A heart-wrenching incident has sent shockwaves through the region, a mother and son duo lost their lives in a fatal road accident on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.
The victims, who were returning to Delhi after a pilgrimage to Haridwar, were struck by a car that was allegedly traveling on the wrong side of the road.
The horrifying incident caught on camera took place in Ghaziabad district, where the speeding car collided with the scooter the victims were riding. The impact of the collision was so severe that the mother and son sustained critical injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital.
Tragically, they succumbed to their injuries despite receiving medical attention.

The deceased have been identified as 20-year-old Yash Gautam and his 40-year-old mother, Manju Devi. The local authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter. The driver has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
This tragic incident has once again highlighted the grave concern of road safety in the region. With increasing traffic on the expressways, the need for stricter enforcement of traffic rules and regulations becomes paramount.
