Travel Influencer Aanvi Kamdar Falls Into Gorge While Making Reel, Dies in Maharashtra's Raigad

Pune: In a tragic incident, a 27-year-old social media influencer, Aanvi Kamdar, died after falling into a gorge while recording a video in Raigad district in Maharashtra.

A chartered accountant by profession, Aanvi was on a monsoon outing with seven friends when the tragedy unfolded.

According to a police, she slipped into the 300-foot-deep gorge near the famous Kumbhe waterfall at Mangaon in Raigad while making a video, news agency PTI reported.

Soon after the incident, her friend alerted the police. A police team along with local rescuers rushed to the spot.

After rescuers spotted her, she was rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Kamdar's nstgram account boats over 2,50,000 followers.
